Introduction

Autumn is here, and it's time to look back on another exciting quarter at Planet Wild! ๐Ÿ‚

After a somewhat slower second quarter, things picked up again in Q3. Our community continued to grow, contributions increased significantly, and most importantly, we were able to direct more funding towards rewilding than ever before in a single quarter.

Our three missions took us to three very different places. In Poland, we transformed an abandoned fish farm into a paradise for beavers. In Argentina, we helped fly a wild jaguar across the country to strengthen an endangered population. And in the UK, we teamed up with WWT to bring wetlands and wildlife back into the heart of Bristol.

Let's take a look at the numbers!

๐Ÿ‡ต๐Ÿ‡ฑ Mission 41: Turning an Abandoned Fish Farm into a Beaver Paradise

On Mission 41, we teamed up with Rewilding Oder Delta to transform an abandoned fish farm in Poland into a thriving wetland. By giving beavers space to reshape the landscape and helping local communities coexist with them, we're supporting the comeback of one of nature's most remarkable ecosystem engineers.
