Summer is in full swing, and another quarter has come to a close. After the traditionally strong first few months of the year, things have slowed down somewhat, as they usually do. Even so, we’re very happy with everything we achieved in Q2.
This quarter’s three missions took us to Colombia for the very first time and brought us back to Kenya and Australia. And all three focused on forests! 🌴
Our overall mission budgets are still somewhat below what our community could support. From Q3 onwards, however (and definitely in 2027), we have several exciting missions lined up that will enable us to direct significantly more funding towards rewilding efforts.
Let’s take a look at how we invested the funds:
On Mission 38 we helped to protect Colombia’s cloud forests by expanding a nature reserve, restoring habitat, and giving rare species a chance to recover.
